Onboard Learning is a specialist provider of online Recreational Marine Drivers Licence (RMDL) and Personal Watercraft (PWC) licence courses. All our courses are fully BoatSafe approved. In Queensland, all candidates for a marine licence, must satisfactorily complete either an approved BoatSafe competency-based training and assessment program or recognition of prior learning assessment with an approved BoatSafe Training Providers (BTP) employed by a BTO. The BoatSafe scheme, modelled on national guidelines for the safe operation of recreational boats, is designed to increase the rigour of training and assessment processes improving the safety awareness, attitudes and competence of all future licence holders.
Our courses meet or exceed the BoatSafe RMDL Competency Standard and the BoatSafe PWCL Standard and are designed to ensure that you are able to get your licence first time, with the theory knowledge you need to be safe, competent and confident on the water.
An online course enables you to cut down classroom time, gives you flexibility to complete the theory at your own pace, and allows you to move straight to the practical portion of your boating course with your chosen BTO.
